So i just started station trading (Ya ik great time considering the recent fee hike) and was wondering how many times I have to pay each fee. Im pretty sure sales tax only applies upon sale, but does broker fee apply on both buy orders and sell orders?

And if so, without fee reducing skills (which yes i do have), where is the buy:sell break even point? i.e. buy equals what % of sell?

You can see all fees that apply to an order when creating buy or sell orders, take a look and whip out your calculator :).

I work on 10% margin (shifting slightly with the new taxes), because easy maths :p

Seems they've knocked Jita on its butt with the new tax rates. Margins are widening on everything. Even PLEX price is down.

PLEX's fall is not related to the taxes at all. (And actually, PLEX are not down. It is ISK that is up in value).

I've been predicting that PLEX would be under 1000m in the immediate aftermath of Citadel since well before the market changes were announced.

They'll be at another all-time high within 12 months if null gets quiet again.

Disclaimer: I am invested in PLEX since yesterday.


EDIT: FWIW, Mexallon is trading at an extremely unsustainable price now. Expect it under 50 ISK (and under 19m units per PLEX) in the short term.

Margins widening is an expected effect of increased taxes, to do otherwise would be to trade at a loss.
