Free Agents.

Mercenaries.

Market Barons.

Rock Chewers.

...

Capsuleers.

I would like to propose that capsuleers in New Eden have the opportunity to join NPC corporations.

* Could pave a way for new PVE mission content opportunities that might only be accessible through those corporations.
* Offers players an opportunity to play closer to the lore of the game. Real stories from within these NPC corps.
* Players joining an NPC pirate faction member corp would automatically lose their security status.

In Null NPC Pirate Space, update this space/or add to it, alliance contesting zones, the areas would remain sov to the NPC faction. As a reward , instead of an LP system to the current alliance that controls it, the reward should be operative rights to NPC drilling platforms (to pay alliances with resources). Players in the NPC corp, could also contest for these operative rights and win them back for the NPC faction(which pays out to players). During NPC control of the platforms, more rats could also appear at gates, asteroid belts, on stations, the drilling platforms, etc...

NPC corporations should be able to hire capsuleers directly into their ranks, and considering the advantages capsuleers bring to a fight, doing a job, or winning a war, why wouldn't they? Inside the NPC Corp, why not rise through it's ranks. Applying a similar ranking system such as is found in Faction Warfare would be nice. A player could be a Mining Foreman at Minmatar Mining Corporation, a Technician at Ishukone, or become an Angel Commander.

...Why? We want less people hiding in NPC corps, not more.

this or social corps gets a big old +1 from me.

But without the NPC LP stores in nullsec there are no slave and snake or talisman sets and no pirate ships.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

I didn't suggest removing NPC LP stores.

Basically just this, but any/or majority of NPC corporations.

I'd be in favor of letting people join the NPC corp of their choice but not give them any more options/benefits than the regular ones. I don't think there would be anything wrong with people having a Caldari Navy corp chat instead of Caldari Provision for example.

It's that whole 'we' attitude that help get yourshitpushedin these past few weeks. I'd think getting the rug ripped out from you would help you obtain some perspective.

I also agree with you in spirit that it's an mmo and the point of player corps is that you form your own groups and do things you like to do as groups.

One of the few 'choices have meaningful consequences' that CCP has yet to remove is the choice to join a corp of like minded players (player corporation) or to stay in the npc corp your bloodline dictates. Each has advantages.

Player corps let folks that like each other to do things together.
NPC corps give all sorts of protections from player corps.

So that's your choice, stay in the NPC corp of your bloodline and maintain all those protections OR join a play corp and hang out with folks that you actually like.

I truly hope CCP never allows you to have choices regarding which NPC corp you are in.
