hi

My dream is to make one system in whole galaxy where was alowed only 1vs1 fights.

Maybe peoples should pick such system, maybe low sec.
Can be unwriten rule that ppl dont help each other in fights in This Particular System.

what do u think?

That's literally every system. And people who do not honor 1v1's HAVE NO SPACE HONOR.


But some people don't care about space honor so meh.

It's a nice dream, but there will always be those who want to shatter your dreams. This is EVE.

You may also need to wait until changes to boosting occur as some 1v1 people are actually 1v1+boosting alt hidden nearby.

Plus, assuming you are hoping to have the fight based only on skill, how would you account for booster drugs or implants. I mean a breach with no implants and drugs is not going to do well against a breacher with full high grade crystals and the right drugs.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

1. Maybe CCP could help.
On Sisi is one system where CCP put Combat becons.
Why they cant place few combat becons on Tranqulity? its not big effort.

GOOD solution could be that CCP put "Combat becons" with "acceleration gates" , wich allow to enter first 2 persons.
So other cant go in and disturb them. Or maybe beter becon that only first 2 ppl can warp, that pirats dont wait near acceleration gate;p
What do u think?

For CCP that could be another isk sink, many ppl would sit there and fight like on sisi and test fits and improve skills.



2.Abaut rules of fight. I was thinking abaut ppl arange fights talking personally. They choose fits class ships modules meta.
Drugs busters. how ppl want and arange it and talk abaut it.
Only One rule. Not help others.

I love this game, its hard to find 1vs1 but its possible, why dont make it easier.

CCP is not going to help you and it's unlikely most other players would be inclined towards fair 1 vs 1.

The only way to do something like you want is to do it yourself. Either host a competition and hope you don't get hot-dropped or make a corp dedicated to honorable dueling and hope you don't get a bunch of morons joining to ruin it for you.

It's a lofty goal. Perhaps even a noble one. But EVE is a sandbox. It's up to you build your little castle and keep everyone else from kicking it down.

Here's a 1v1 idea following EvE rules....

1: Buy a citadel
2: Put said citadel in a WH or secluded low/null system
3: Invite people to 1v1 fights in front of the citadel, if they bring friends, have your 'friend' in the citadel blow them outta the sky.

Many Sandbox MMO's have dedicated Arenas to fight 1vs1 most of them have it.

Normally I roll my eyes at this sort of thing, but then I found myself thinking, why not? They already have gates which limit ship type and wormholes which limit mass. Why not have a plex with a limit on number of ships? Plex/wormhole mechanics drive some interesting and unique content. Nothing wrong with adding tools for players to drive new types of content.

Really all spaceship violence is built around some mechanic (gate timers, station timers, cyno mechanics, FW plex, wormholes, etc). More variety in mechanics means more types of fights...right?

I've fought plenty of duels without somebody interfering.


I've also 1v1's in nullsec without third parties.



1v1's happen all the time, its just a matter of SPACE HONOR and finding a SPACE HONORABLE opponent.

Confirming once again that 1v1s are twisted perversion and the whole idea of LE SPAEC BUSHIDO is abusive and corrosive to the game.
Unstoppable as they are, these weird fantasists with their strange ideas will always be lurking, looking for that hot 1v1 encounter in a place where they won't be interrupted. I don't know why they do it, something to do with their mental wiring i suppose.
Rather than let them upset me, i take some comfort from memories of landing on two sickos indulging in their warped lust, destroying both compromised hulls before moonwalking around the system being told i lack E-HONORE.

Eve isn't most of them and Eve doesn't need a 1v1 arena.

You want to do it, do it the Eve way. That is, take responsibility for it yourself rather than whinging to CCP to create it for you.
