CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

The fact that so many players are not using and do not want to use the "new camera" should give you an idea about how well liked the new camera is.

I will only use the new camera when both the following things happen:
1. It is no longer an option to use the old camera.
2. The default settings for the new camera are as close as possible to the functionality I get from the old camera.

PS - maybe there is a reason everyone is using the old camera? Did you consider that? The most common comments I heard on comms yesterday were:
1. "My MWD won't turn off. This is weird."
2. "Great. Now I have to turn off the new camera. Again. For like the third time."

First off, the new camera is basically the same functionality as the old one by changing 1 or two settings.

2nd, a dev gives you an idea for a temporary fix, you should probably give it a go or stop posting in the issues thread.

They have dozens of issues to fix, and they will get around to it. Your problem is not the biggest one out there right now, so in the meantime try one of the following:

- Try the TEMPORARY fix the dev gave you and be grateful that a Dev actually took time to respond to you.
- Don't try the fix and not post a self centered post on the forum AND still be grateful a Dev took time to respond to you.
- Get angry that a Dev did not drop everything they were doing and fix your ONE problem first instead of trying to look at all the problems in the bigger picture, contract all your stuff to someone, extract all your skillpoints, biomass your character, and go win Eve.

You may be correct, I think broker fee value displayed on Orders tab should be 2.5%, for characters with Broker Relations level 5.

If you go into ESC menu / Display and Graphics tab, look for checkbox " Dynamic Center Offset" (main problem you have) and "Dynamic Field of View" - if both of these are un-checked, new camera behaves more like old camera.

This has got to be one of the worst changes in this Patch/Expansion.

I can understand increasing the Installation cost of Jump Clone to 900k, heck even the original 5M would have been fine, But 900k EVERY TIME THAT YOU JUMP BETWEEN CLONES!!!!!!! That's insane.

What an idiotic comment, seriously. Have you read the bunch of comments asking for the same issue that are just before your remarks? A "do not use the feature" is not a temporary fix. Asking the intended thing to work is not self centered, is an issue concerning a feature that doesnt work. Developers did not answer to me but at this point is clear you dont know how to read a forum. I did never get angry nor I pressed for any issue to be fixed in any amount of time, I simply stated I refuse to use a feature I dont like cause the one should be working is not. Biomass my character? WTF... as said before... what an idiotic comment. Seriously.

Thanks for the update!! Being a SW Engineer myself I know how hard is to try get it all 100% when so many changes and a schedule have to be followed...

Not sure if this was mentioned, but drone navigation skill currently gives only 5% mwd speed bonus to regular drones on level 5 (don't know about other levels, i have this skill maxed on all of my characters).

My item hangar in stations closes every time i undock and redock. Tried clearing cache, nothing works. Started since the patch yesterday.

Yup, sounds like loads of people (me included) are having issues deactivating active modules. Unfortunately this makes the game unplayable, so I guess I'll just go play world of warships till CCP fix it.

We just deployed a client fix that is targeted at the overview not updating, and two of the issues with the old camera.


  • When using the old camera, module buttons fail to allow deactivating modules after a jump. Workaround: Switch to the new camera for a moment.
  • Buttons to the left hand side of the HUD will not show at login if the old camera is selected and no active modules are fitted to your ship
  • The overview may fail to refresh correctly while in space.


These fixes will require a relog to get (client version 1035137) and the overview one is speculative as we have no internal repro of the issue, but we thought it best to try and get a possible fix out and iterate further on it, than spend more time trying to get a repro while the live environment suffers. Please let us know if you are experiencing any of these issues from client version 1053517 onward, either in this thread or via bug report.
