The avatar background you chose elevated you to god status making you all knowing and all seeing therefore an overview is of little importance and was removed from your client.

New Launcher?

If so, it has had a bad history of peoples' UI and settings getting defaulted, though I've heard it would be just using a default setup and you setup is still there just stored in the wrong spot is all. The old launcher makes a backup of your cache and settings folders and I'd imagine the new one does too, so that could be lingering somewhere on your harddrive as well.

Search for "cache_backup0", "cache", or "settings" in an explorer window. That might help.

Or the Gods could have been mad at the lowercase first and last names.

You might need to show hidden files for this. If you don't know how, just google it.

Hmmm, I thought it might be more:

The avatar background you chose has made you less likely to undock, therefore your client has realized that you have no need of an overview.

Are you running windows 10. This is actually a windows 10 fault to do with how it saves files if windows crashes.
