A spaceport-like building that transports things between planets.

I think there should also be a way to transport things between systems, but that should require some in-space infrastructure, like a citadel in-system or something.

Im resistant to these ideas because you're just making passive income more passive. The thing that transports pi goods between planets and systems is your ship.

What id totally be on board for is being able to courier contract pi goods between custom offices.

EVE FAQ "7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided"

More than happy for there to be the ability to contract NPC haulers to haul goods from one planet to another for you, even across multiple systems, as long as they can be blown up and looted by anyone willing to take a sec status hit.

This. Make them work like those hisec hauler convoys and actually contain the materials being moved and have to go through a gate if they move between systems.

The convoy idea would be neat. But maybe the haulers should have a few escorts...

Another idea is to have a way to auto-contract the goods (courier contract) once they get launched to the POCO, then any player can move them.

Or you could just play the damn game. Undock, move your stuff. PI isn't exactly complicated as is and this wouldn't really improve it (compared to, say, reducing the frankly ABSURD number of clicks it takes to reconfigure a planet). The only way I could see this working is if the transport was prohibitively expensive. At that point, if you want to lose money on it? Sure.

Is clicking undock, warp to, and loot all really that many clicks? I agree with having to play the game, but hauling stuff from one planet to the other isn't my idea of playing. Now maybe in null or w-space... Maybe disable the interplanetary transport unless you own the null Sov, and disable it entirely in w-space.

If players can do it npcs shouldn't
