Searching for 'Specific' Types of Toons in the Character Bazaar

Hello Fellow Gamesters & Corporate Types Alike,

Well lets see now... after nearly seven years of playing this game, it is still not possible to weed out the hundreds of toons I have no interest in to find the ones I may be.

In all the years I have been playing this game... and considering all the upgrades, patches, expansions, and various other touted enhancements... I am still forced to scroll through every page of the Character Bazaar individually to find only mining toons.

I used every conceivable word associated with mining... such as miner, mining toon, mining pilot, Hulk, Hulk pilot, Exhumer and a myriad of other combinations just so I can see just what I am looking for but to no avail.

It does not appear to me that the Advanced Search field has any effect on the results I am looking for. So what and I doing wrong or why doesn't this feature work? Is there not some sort of 'index' field by which all types of toons can be sorted or searched for?

Seems to me CCP should try and spare one or two of their game techs and look into improving some their out-of-game services.

On a scale of 1-10 I would give this a priority of .00367.

If you're flying 15 mining toons that all warp and mine together - I can't feel for you. Your quest for lazy must come to and end. (put dramatic Picard "It ends here!" cut scene right here)

That would require people to actually care about that and fill out the form. Since many people cannot even be bothered to adequately describe their chars with key words in the existing threads so that you could easily find them via §preferedsearchengine§, I doubt much would change with such a lot.

However, using the forum search at all is already a bad start at searching anything in these forums. The forum search is about as useful as a feather to lift a brick. Use §preferedsearchengine§ with a site limiter to the character bazaar to find what you are looking for more reliable.

You've been in the game for seven years, yet you persist on calling characters 'toons'? I must say, you deserve whatever ills the Character Bazaar throws at you.
