EVE New Citizens Q&A

Hi I'm Lance Zefo. I used to play in Serenity.

Back then I was a solo pirate in low sec. Mostly I drive Vagabond, Typhoon or Gila. I was a pirate who keep his promise. If you pay, I leave you alone. You just bought weeks of safety in neighbor solar systems and I can even provide help if been called.

Anyway, that was 3-4 years ago and I haven't played EVE since then. Now I'm coming to tranquility, for all sorts of reasons. In Serenity I was always independent. I fight, I PVE, I do some business in Jita, I do planet material, I scan... The most thing that I didn't experienced is to join a company, and have lots of brothers with who you can look out for each other all the time.

Now I'm still in my trial period, day 3. I'm driving a Rifter and I tried to pve in the asteroid belt in low sec, but its just exhausting to break the tank of a battleship.

I'd love to join a group of fighters. I can be your scout, well, rookie scout. I'm planning to get on a Jaguar or Dramir, or just Stabber. Anyway, I wanna fight, while communicating with teamspeaker. I can honestly admit I loved the game since I watched Rooks & Kings videos.

My active time is mainly 12:00 to 17:00 and 22:00-0:00, hopefully an hour per day.

If anyone is interested, pls leave some information here or contact me in the game. The character is called Lance Zefo.

OP - If you are familiar with the game theoretical concept of the Prisoner's Dilemma, you'll understand why, but piracy for ransom basically is dead now. There's too much incentive to renege upon your ransom after getting paid and no real system for third party involvement in ransoms.

Broadly speaking piracy - which I'll define as theft-motivated use of force in amounts that is overwhelming to prey that lacks the capacity to escalate - now takes place primarily in highsec in the form of for-profit suicide ganking, and for-profit attacks on Player Owned Starbases, and finally in wardecs where the aggressor seeks a surrender fee from the aggressor.
