I'm in the precarious situation of being an old player (56 mil SP) with no real experience - I'm continuously on and off EVE, always fascinated by its theme and environment, and always dropping it after short stints.

I have dabbled in scouting and exploration, and also in mission running and mining for a while, but for all intents and purposes, you may assume I'm a newcomer lucky enough to have an advanced (in terms of SP) character.

I don't mind fulfilling most roles, but I have a preference for being out in space, rather than docked in a station perpetually. Exploration was fun when I tried it, and hauling, logistics, scouting and WH exploration are things that interest me, but I'm open to trying pretty much everything.

What I lack is the ability (or the sheer luck) to find a corporation where I can feel at home. And when I try searching, there are so many to choose from; is this one the best for me? or that one? So I thought, let me try my luck by reversing the process:

Anyone out there interested in recruiting an introverted, slightly socially challenged guy who wants to give EVE another chance?
And why do you think I should join you?

Hey Tiberius,

We are a smaller corp, mainly EUTZ in a friendly and not-too-large alliance. You might fit in with us, precisely because you're a bit older and slightly introvert :-)

Our corp is mainly PVP oriented, but in the alliance there's plenty of room for PVE (which we all do to make isk, btw), industry and other activities. We don't usually do 'must do' fleets and such. We are often active in Spectre fleets which is low threshold pvp just for fun, and we're also known to do blackops hotdrops - for pretty much the same reasons. So, we have a lot of different types of content to offer, for different kinds of pilots (newbros included), and it's all good - you're free to do as you choose. Plus, we have the experience to help you further if needed.

Solyaris Chtonium (SLYCE) is one of the most friendly and relaxed alliances I've ever been in, in my 8 years of Eve experience. Really worth a try.. I'd even go as far as to say that if you don't join us, you should definitely check out other corps in SLYCE.
