Linking Eve IDs to Wordpress

I'm looking to link onto my Wordpress site the ability for any Eve player to post comments using their Eve ID. I found this here..

However, it's broken... (or, I just can't get it to work)

Does anyone know of any plugins or developments that will handle this? Basically, the same way you would link your Facebook account, I'd like to link an Eve account to Wordpress. Showing avatar, race, corp, alliance, etc... Is this possible?

without api keys public info would be accesible I imagine using the name to id conversion api, you should then be able to fetch all the public information wich I do believe lists corp,alliance and sec rating.

Never used wordpress so cant realy help there.

A user making a post could attach a charname, and if you find charid using the first xml, you can fetch the second xml and display along with his post I guess.

That is if you dont ask for api keys at all, if you do then the sky is probably the limit.

I may be able to get this working again. I've done some work with the apis and wordpress plugins.

Got quite a bit on my plate atm though.....
