Limit FPS below 60

Hello,

I'm coming back to eve after 2 years and I noticed the game is more ressource demanding than it used to be, when using several accounts at once.

I play with a lot of small windows of eve. (up to 18-20 but I am not using isboxer in anyway, I do everything manually and I always have)

Beforehand, when an EVE window would not be active its FPS would be limited to 15.
But now, all my accounts run at 60 fps ! Whether I am using this window or not. So my GPU is having a panic attack.

I would like to know if there is a way to have the non active windows fps to get limited to 15 again.
Or if there is a way to set interval 2 or 4 on window mode.
Or if there is any way to limit fps using a 3rd party program.

I tried to force vsync with half refreshrate in my nvidia panel and it's not working.

Thank you for your time. Pirate

With Nvidia Inspector you can limit the FPS for exefile.exe, however it will limit all clients, even the active ones. Have you done any OS changes since last time?

I'd be very interested in a solution for this as well. Of course downgraded performance across the board even when active isn't a solution I'm looking for. However, when the screen is not active, having the graphics through put cut back like it use to would be very nice!

The only temporary solution I have found is to minimize all the windows that I'm not using, then the GPU isn't working for them.

No OS change, I'm still using W7 64bits. Thank you for your answers. Cool

Sorry for being off-topic, but how do you manage 18~20 clients?

3 screens and tentacles P

Generally I only use 12 accs so it's nothing special, since what I'm doing isn't too demanding for mechanical skill.

I prefer to make everyone jump a gate within 3 or 4 sec and not risk a ban, than use an automated software and risk a ban to save 3sec.

No matter what graphics card you have. You can always use MSI afterburner to limit FPS.
You need to open RivaTunerStatisticsServer from tray and create profile for exefile.exe and set the desired FPS

Btw, how to mute the sound of notifications ? I really hate that.

I've tried a few things in the NVIDIA panel as well trying to limit the fps on the game. Currently having issues with 150-200fps for one client killing my fans. Only game with this issue so I'm not messing with any other settings in NP.

Interval one didn't help ?
