Captains log: March 22 YC118

After being on Leave for almost a year, my leave was terminated and was called back to action.

My first mission back: To explore the newly discovered wormholes that seem to be man made.

My first mistake was assuming, assuming that things were not much different than they were over a year ago. As I approached the anomaly I scanned down earlier I thought nothing of a wormhole leading into high security space. It was at this point my fatal error occurred. I saw for the first time a wormhole on the overview and thought wow, that is quite unusual. Are those not something you have to seek out and scan down? is someone trying to ambush people? but wait this icon wow it surely is another wormhole.

I must have had a computer malfunction because as I saved the coordinates they were no longer in the system when I attempted to retrieve them later for exit.


I jump through the worm hole and see a few sites. needless to say I did not read the sign posted out front of the wormhole. Even cloaked in my little Helios I thought OK I can sneak around here and scout out what is going on here.

First site, What the hell are these Circadian sleepers. and what the f is that ship looking so sleek and metallic. OMG does it have free floating turrets. BOOM. I must have gotten to close to the beacon for my cloak had be deactivated, before I even saw the shot, target lock or sound. I was in my pod with a letter from concord saying my insurance has been paid. Well that sucks,

So off to the exit right.

No.

Not quite.

The malfunction was either in my brain or something. I swear the location was there on the overview, and I swear I bookmarked it but when I warped back there nothing. Nothing but the gate or structure there before.

So I am stuck lost here in system J174618 in a pod, with implants that cost a fortune and no way to return. At least the sleepers deem me no threat as to shoot at me so I am left blindly exploring the area until my mayday is heard.

It has been only one day and I think I can hear voices.


My transmissions have been answered yet there has been no luck in finding a route in. They said they will do their best. I can just hope they are sincere and they will not rid this world of my body.


I have scoped the area continuing on my mission. Hoping to just find a lone wolf scanning the area. No such luck I tell myself. I have been telling myself a lot of things lately.


This one will be short as I am being called to dinner. Damn you frank. I will be there in a min.
