INTERNET SPACESHIPS MMO GOTY.
Better than out-wearing underpants, simply walking into Mordor, Wow with Sansha, and Pandas of Warcraft.

Site voting like that depends on who it spreads to most and how big their player base is. There might be an Indie game that is excellent and only had 5000 subscribers but if say Waste of Web is listed there and someone links it on the forums that would win by default.

In essence, it is meaningless.

CCP - Building ant hills and magnifying glasses for fat kids

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

Winning a competition for the best MMORPG of the year is like trying to give an award to the most intelligent woman in a beauty contest, they're all stupid in the first place for being there and taking part in such a ridiculous farce.

If this was a contest where MMORPGs would be up against other game genres then all these games would come last and besides, MMORPG.com have about as much credibility as game journalists as fox news do when it comes to being politically unbiased.

With CCP treating their customers as if they don't have choices about which games to play and letting the metagame clubs ( like the Goons) and RMT businesses run rampant all over the Theme Park...

WHY WOULD I EVER VOTE FOR EVE??????

There is going to have to be some major changes in Eve before I will ever again spend one dime on it or before I will ever give Eve a positive review on any game review board.

You can have an active account for years both paying for it once and paying for it with ISK for free you halfwit.

I don't understand why these trolls always think they're so clever yet fail to even grasp the basic concepts of how this particular game gives you game time.

Even getting game time via ISK, you're still paying for it and CCP still gets money. PLEX are not made by magical unicorns that fart game time onto the market.

VOTE IN!

2011 Was crazy year for EVE players.

Even though there were mass protests against the problems with Incarna, Micro-Transactions (pay-to-win), the NEX Store, "The Door", leaked emails and more...

I voted for Eve BECAUSE of the protests.

What other game could those mass protests have happened? And actually had an impact on CCP's dev team. I guarantee you if WoW players tried to do a protest in-game like that, the server would be shut down and10-year-olds every where would be crying!

EVE FOREVER! WOO!

A - You paid for it in ISK, you spent time making ISK, time is money. It wasnt free
B - You say people don't understand when you too, obviously, don't understand how this game gives you game time either. You buy PLEX with ISK, the only way that PLEX made it on the market is because someone bought it with REAL MONEY and put it on the market. Hence, CCP still got paid so it wasn't free. I'd take a wager that CCP makes more money from PLEX than they do straight-up subscription fees.

Nothing In Life Is Free. The sooner people figure this out, the better :)

Well clearly you don't remember when the CCP fleets farted plex's into the game by exploding in a PL induced fireball

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

The door is over there,

Im over here waiting for your stuff.

Also i bet you never read a dev blog or have never played any other mmo. There are always a ton of meta gaming clubs. See ref, elitist jerks and ensidia. Also there is not a single 0.0 entity that doesnt meta game. How do you think they hold territory?
who remembers how d2 lost their titan because of a frigate smartbombing through pos shields? What about every single person who participated in pos bowling. There is not a single entity in this game that hasnt meta gamed.

RMT is rampant in all games but eve its lower,

Also I have a duck and a pancake your arguement is invalid.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

You missed the point. Whether they pay a monthly fee or pay through PLEX or with ISK funded PLEX they are ACTIVE in EVE Online, posting on the forums, participating.

I am always amused enough that somebody can work up the energy to post this - to the point of indicating they would not give the game a positive review:

And yet maintain the interest to remain active. If I had that type of feelings about a video game, I'd certainly stop feeding the developer revenue! Be that through PLEX or VISA.

It seems stupid to me.
