So massive galaxy and no other lifeforms than humans?

Where the scifi actually is in this game?

All I see is references from the talebook from ancient palestine.

You don't need aliens to be sci-fi...

Just say NO to Dailies

Humans are the aliens in this galaxy, so if you want to see an alien, just go look in the mirror.

I've always wondered that too, where are the E.T.s. Nothing this deep in space away from earth? Seems like an awful waste of space.

Last i checked there are no fedos on earth And for scifi, we are roaming the cluster with spaceships with a warpdrive. How is that not scifi?

Aye, Sea Turtles

1. 5000 gated stars + 2500 wormhole stars do not a galaxy make. Look at Elite:Dangerous if you want to see a galaxy.

2. Where are the aliens on Earth? Well maybe there are, but officially it's just humans, and you can have Sci-Fi without aliens.

3. What would be the point of aliens? You want one race to be humans, and the others to be furry or something? What would be the point? The ships are the same, the only difference would be uglier portraits. We don't have avatars, and the attributes just govern skill training times.

4. You're shooting ships. Yes there are people inside (NPCs) and there are escape pods, but they die. You're fake-killing humans, deal with it, no need to justify your inner murderer as "shooting aliens" or "shooting zombies" or "demons" or whatever.

Obviously the point is mating with furries.

It would be neat though. Even the Jove recogized the possibility of alien life in the chronicle "Inheritance." For now though, the closest thing we have to an alien race IMO is the Jove or the Talocayn, and they are still very much human.

This isn't generic sci-fi No. 11.

Anyway slaver hounds and long-limbs are aliens, its just that they are animal aliens.

Except there are. The wildlife on planets. Also, we could be considered aliens since we didn't come from New Eden

If you mean intelligent life like men, then you are right. Like the holy book told us, with are the peak of creation, the children of god. Every other being is ment to be below us.

There is no wasted space. Just places, we have not reached yet.

A long time ago, when EVE was invented, CCP stated that there will be no aliens in eve. EVE is a game, about humans, being human. We are nasty to each other. all the races in eve are a sect of humans. There will not or do not need to be aliens in eve. Get over it.

Of course this being ccp that could change, but why? We do enough killing each other that aliens are unnecessary and kinda stupid.

We are the invaders of new eden. The only thing that could be feasible is the return of 'pure' terrains.

The closest you will get to non human beings (aliens) in eve are the Jove, and they too are human. The Tolcans are human, and other ancheint race as well. all human

OMG Comet Mining idea!!! Comet Mining!

Personally, I find New Eden not being filled with the standard scifi anthropomorphic "aliens" refreshing and appealing.

Look up the item Fedo. Aliens man, aliens. Slaver Hounds are probably aliens? Maybe just GMO foodstuffs gone to far. The lore tells us planets are full of exotic life, just none of it is sentient. EVE likely has plants and giant monsters that try to kil you, but when they go up against super high tech railguns and ablative auto-reactive armors that repair themselves, they don't seem so threatening.

Also Rogue Drones? Jove? Sleepers?

I don't think it' gets anymore alien then the truly alien intelligence that drives the rogue drones! No one really knows how they became aware, you could extrapolate that however you wish!

I don't think we will see intelligent aliens in the game but when DUST, or whatever its going to be, gets back up & running then we will probably see some sort of alien life on the planets.

Rogue Drones are Human created AI, Jove are Human, Sleepers are Human.
EVE is about Humanity, not about aliens.

Typically aliens are just a stereotype of a particular human characteristic anyway.

I don't think they are sentient by majority. Notice how the rare spawns in drone sites are called sentient drones, i think implying the rest aren't. They are also the ones that actually speak.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

This. The point is in fact to not be like literally every other sci-fi game out there.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."
