Singularity Mass Test: Thursday 17th March 2016

Hey everyone,

We are planning a masstest on Singularity on Thursday, March 17th, at 17:00 EVE time (=UTC)!

What exactly is being tested?

Citadel weapons!

Please bring any combat capable subcapital ship to the fight.

We would like to test the Citadel weapon systems against subcapital ships.

IMPORTANT:The Citadel weapon systems are still being balanced, the numbers are not 100% final.

Please Note:
There will be some population limits in place to prevent overload issues.

How to connect to Singularity:
Read the Instructions at https://community.eveonline.com/support/test-servers/singularity/ and read general instructions about mass tests at https://community.eveonline.com/support/test-servers/mass-testing/.
Join the in-game channel "MassTesting"

Test steps: (subject to change)

  • Meet in FD-MLJ at the gate to X-BV98
  • Jump into X-BV98
  • Fleet X warp to the Fleet X beacon at 0
  • Fleet W warp to the Fleet W beacon at whatever range you want
  • FIGHT


What else should I know?
Use the command /moveme to be moved to the start system FD-MLJ
2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test

Please make sure to test a Citadel as if it was in highsec, so launchers only, without any of the bombs, PD, or other AOE or special weapons available to low & null. Because the launchers have been looking exceptionally weak.
I won't be able to make it myself given that's 0600 Friday morning, but I think High Sec Citadels have been left as overly weak and underpowered in both abilities and defence, despite identical costs.

This is not going to be a test of game balance, I feel, and from technical standpoint there's nothing to test about regular launchers... Mostly.

Queue system not working on test server, when i finaly for to 0 my login was nog accepted anymore... :( so no mass test for me today i guess

Disappointing the population limit is as low as it is currently set, this pretty much locks out anyone who couldn't get on before 1700.

I always enjoy participating in mass testing, but sitting in a queue is not something I really anticipated doing.

The authentication token provided by the launcher is of an invalid format. Please try again or contact EVE customer support.

Again on both my chars, been in queue few times since 16:50 eve time.... to bad... no test... no points... no fun...

Well, Seams that no MassTest for me too:

"The authentication token provided by the launcher is of an invalid format. Please try again or contact EVE customer support."

Fix the Queue please.
