I'm wondering if the devs have any plans to further expand the selection of Combat Suits? I'd love to see Pirate faction combat suits.

SoE aren't pirates from a lore standpoint, nor is ORE, or Mordus Legion really, but yeah some more side-faction stuff could be nifty.

You'd think, but then why would they need high tech powered combat suits? Humanitarian missions?

We (including SoE and every pirate/empire faction) pilot big space ships, why would any of us need powered combat suits? We're not infantry.

However from a lore standpoint I would suspect it would be their security forces that wear the suits for defensive purposes. I could be wrong.

Still, I'm tempted to get one of those SOE suits with the AK I'm earning from PD.

I doubt the Sisters of Eve are really a humanitarian organization, although that's certainly the front they put up. There was all that stuff with the Jove and with the rogue drones in their L1 epic arc. They have very advanced ship technology, they built outposts in the deepest, most dangerous and most inaccessible parts of wormhole space and they have entire fleets out there doing who-knows-what. There's obviously far more to them than they let on.

For any time you step out of your pod obviously.
And CCP already have five variants of the armour made I believe. Just only SoE are available atm.
