I'd love to have a better visual signal for when I am and am not scrambled. Something should flash or make it obvious. Perhaps my velocity meter? Is there some indicated that I'm not noticing or some feature already in place that I don't have turned on?

Thanks,
Tuttle

edit: i think the best way would be to just make the velocity meter turn red any time you can't warp.

Currently the only visual indication of ewar of any kind is on the overview, though that can be obscured if you don't stretch the overview window out enough. It would be useful to have a clearer indication of webbing and scrambling, as you mentioned, have the speed meter change colour, red for scramble, maybe orange for web.

When you have so much going on, noticing the small ewar icons on a busy overview can be difficult.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

I usually find a quick glance down the overview makes it pretty obvious, then again I have my overview stretched out across half my screen P

So supported, as long as there is an option to disable it if we want to :)

Always assume that...

- if you are closer than 28kms from an enemy, you ARE warp disrupted.
- if you are closer than 11km from an enemy, you ARE webbed and scrammed.
- If your can't activate any of your modules, you have been neuted.
- If you can't hit a same sized target with your turrets, you have been tracking disrupted.
- If you lose target for "no apparent reason" and can't relock, you have been ECMed.

I dunno, I've survived quite a few fleet fights by merely warping out. Sometimes people forget to spread points properly Smile

i like input number 2 well thought out that is solid idea my post i made months aggo was to se the ewar icon in it own tab or to use colors on overview but i think i like the speed bar change colors most just speed bar only cover 2 e war mods not all of them so more thought will have to be expanded on this. my best input now would be show any and all ewar the the very base of the screen below your moduals, speed, hp cluster. make the icons loud enough to see and then find in overview who is really scramming you so you know your primary cuz you will need to know who is scramming you too or u will be sucking
