CCP Please change one small thing to make every ones life easier.

So we have the ablility to copy text in eve. From chat, email, notepads, etc.
But this is my suggestion.
Please enable "Copy Selected" in chat.

My reasons Why.
Some one else links a item and I need to copy and tab out to look up prices or market values.
Copy text to paste some one else.
I need to copy one or two words out of a chat message and they types a wall of text.

I don't know how other pilots feel about this issue but I for one would love this simple feature change.

Right click and hit copy. It only copies that one line. Hardly a wall of text. But then if all you are doing is copying one or two words....just type it...Blink

Not saying it's a bad idea, but the time spent on coding something like that could be better spent elsewhere in my opinion.

Or you can type the first word in chat, select it and right click. Then select item type and a pop up will list all items with that word in it.

Isn't that tipe/click fest cumbersome enough to support the OP idea? I do get wall of text if I right click something in chat and press copy, btw. Not one line. Not the few words I need. I have to paste it somewhere and reselect only what I need.

If you put the curser over txt in a chat window and right click 2 options should appear. Copy and copy all. Copy will only select and copy the single line that you had your cursor on. Copy all will, well copy all of it. Its the exact way I copied and pasted that quote i my first post.
