Limited android client for trade orders and contracts management, science and industry job management, PI management (PI interface is very comfortable for pads) etc. How about it?
edit: POS/Station management
edit: LIMITED MOBILE CLIENT, not only for android, but for mac, winphone etc shure
edit: It can be EVE-GATE expansion too or other browser thing. It is even better and easier-to-do solution possibly.

No, play the game to play the game.

Market/industry operations are also a huge part of the game. Just try, very interesting.

No, play the game to play the game.

And yes, i want to play the game after launch the client, not waist my time on management. I would prefer to manage such thing in... bus, metro etc from my pad.

So, I am not allowed to participate in that with my Windows Phone (soon W10M) device? Android users should have an advantage over other platforms/operating systems? Please explain, why this segregation makes the game as a whole better.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

NO - because I want CCP to use whatever dev time they have available to make the game better for ALL us, see Rivr's post above about Windows Phone and then add Apple iOS to the list.

If there was a client on Apple and Microsoft devices as well, I wouldn't mind.

Don't explain your philosophy. Embody it.

+1, no graphics, 2d, low bandwith, skillQ & clone management (primarily), possibly market, indy
Edit: Plot twist - browser client to eliminate tears of self absorbed mobile groups. I mean you already log in here, might aswell do more @evegate.
Yes streaming works, very data hungry though.

I have no problem with using apps or programs to plan things out like skill queues and ship fits. What I do have a problem is attempting to play the game while not logged in. It doesn't matter if you are docked in a station working with your PI, you would still have the possibility of manipulating another player's game experience while not actually being in the game.

Anything that takes pilots out of space for ease of convenience is not a good thing.

You do realize there are people making billions of ISK using forums to conclude character and other trades, right?
Yes, you actually log in into forums.

Well the SkillQ argument is less valid now, that you can actually set it for a longer period of time, so you don't have to log "daily".
But there are still numerous occasions when that clone jump, or that priority shift or anything could possibly be applied through a browser GUI rather than downloading the client over limited mobile data just so you can do couple clicks.

What is your "out of space" statement about? I mean it does not matter if I access the game through a PC or through a mobile that could even have the specs to run in, should it have been adapted to it, or through a generalized browser gui?

Do I somehow fly up into space when I use a PC? Do MAC users use dark magic instead? Is wine on linux illegitimate space access?

Space, as in the actual space we fly around in. I could care less if you install this game on your phone, tablet, laptop, or PC. As long are we are all still playing the game and not some "lite" version of it I do not care how you do it. The original post mentioned having a "lite" version of the game in order to do things like modify PI or market orders. They were essentially asking to be able to play the game without logging in, and that is what I have a problem with

How do you play on YOUR account without logging in?

There are plenty of people who do not undock for ages and plenty of people who encourage them to keep their gameplay that way, but I do agree that having market traders all over the world at lite access might become a balance issue, on the other hand would encourage more players to play.

I did not comment on the value or lack of value in your idea, and the fact that it would be a "LIMITED MOBILE CLIENT" is not relevant. I object to it because it takes developer time away from the game as a whole and there are to many problems in the game as a whole for CCP to waste dev time on a project like this.

Put another way it is the lost development time this idea would cause that I object to.

Primary idea is to make possible to do trading/PI/science/else less depended from you phisical placement (and device availability) to give you more time of actual piu-piu gameplay. And yes, billions are made docked, you dont need full client for such things. You even don't need ship for it.
And yes, it can be done via browser and browser may be even better solution. It can be eve-gate interface expansion. Tyvm for idea :)
