Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Greetings All,

I am having an issue starting up the game on my MacBook Pro, 15inch. I bought this new in October 2015, so it is a new system running Yosemite. I was wondering if anyone had a solution. (Perhaps there is a duplicate thread, but didnt see any titles on the first page)

The issue:

Began to happen on Tuesday, the launcher automatically updated, and then there was another update today. The launcher starts successfully and retrieves all my relevant accounts. When I click to open either a single client or multple clients, The screen goes black, as was always the case. Beforehand, after this a Loading progress bar would appear and then your characters would be displayed for you to log in. Now, the sound still occurs (of characters displayed) and there is a 'Eve' styled mouse on the screen, and nothing else. And because i know about where my character is, I was able click once (despite seeing nothing outside of the cursor) and heard the Sound "Connecting... Skill Training Complete... beep ". When I move the mouse around I can here the usual beeps of the interface, but nothing is graphically visualized at all.

I have tried re-installing the launcher to no avail. For the actual "Client" are there other libraries other places in the HD that i need to remove and redo? Are there other fixes I should consider. I did some google searches, but the top results seem quite dated - 2012-2014 approx.

Help with this would be appreciated, I am a recently activated account, and was looking forward to getting back in the game. I even did the special reactivation special... However I was only able to get about a week or two of game play before this bug appeared and has left me unable to play the game for almost a week.

I did, i seem a lot of echoing of similar problems and no solutions. Sent a support ticket to CCP though. It is the weekend though so not too hopeful.
