Two friends and myself join a competitive match and we get two random players. One of them is depressive and keeps moaning about what we should have done while being even more of a useless player than myself. Thus, I muted him.
The other keeps going off on some lone wolf thing getting a few kills and dying, while not helping with the Terrorist objective of bombing (yes Dust-flipping-II)
On the round that he is given the bomb he decides to sit back in the Terrorist spawn and try sniping our enemies, while we all rush forward. Then I realised that the bomb was not coming with us, so I ran back, shot him and grabbed the bomb and we won the round. (I will probably get a temporary ban and I can't download the game for some reason that is probably related).

Later into the game, I realised that one of the enemy was lagging and he had got close while I had a Scout rifle, so I swopped to knife moved around a lot so he couldn't track me and stabbed him.

All in all we lost the game as we were playing with 3 vs 5 but it was a lot of fun none the less. Twisted

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

A friend and I grab a "quick" competitive game before I have to go RL.

End up with three Russians. One Lone wolf dude.
Neck and neck game, really drawn out.
I was not doing well and wanted to leave. Asked my friend to kick me. The Russian in the lead starts trying to encourage me with "good try" "win next time", which is all very sweet and all that.
I start saying:
Name: <-- kick.
Nope.
So, I blew myself up with incendiary and explosive grenades until the game kicked me.

The trouble with Valve is they assume everyone cares about some rank thing and that they can force you to play nice or something?
At this rate; I am just going to do some shooting in it until I am permanently banned.

I avoid everything Valve since they shutdown WON servers for CS 1.5. They are not getting a penny of my isk.

I am guessing you mean World Opponent Network?
Never heard of it before.

Damn, you're bringing back some memories there. I also hated the removal of the WON servers, but I had some friends who insisted that I migrate to Steam to join them, so I gave in.

That's because CS 1.5 was the last CS that used WON. Like I said, when Valve turned off WON, they killed CS 1.5.

Some peeps wrote WON2 to play CS 1.5. But due to legal issues most servers are outside of US. I think I still have it installed on my Pentium 3 machine, will fire up later today and see if there are still people playing.

You think that's bad?

I landed with three kids that were griefing and intentionally doing stupid sh*t to derank us, like throwing the bomb on impossible-to-reach locations, boxing you in, flashing like retards etc etc.

After calmly shutting my PC, I reach to my drawer and withdraw three grey, faceless Voodoo dolls and colour each of their heads purple, yellow and orange - the colour assigned by the game to the griefers. Then I used them to start a fire, grill an amazing BBQ and then I peed on the ashes.

5 vs 1 Demolitions.
He was doing really well with taking over bots and it was 5-5 when we swopped teams to CT.
So I swopped to Terrorist and dragged all the bots the same way each round and got them killed.

Two friends wanted to be on opposing sides to wave e-peen or something, so we went into a death match. I think one lost network (again) and around that time I got invited to a competitive game.
Three sad little gits are in there sniffing each other's farts and laughing on the gas, then they pass out and leave.
*Shrugs and shake head slowly.*
Go and win my 10th competitive match for some Silver 3 rank thing.

It is weird.
I thought I would place lower, like 2 or 1 because I do so much support, like facing back through double doors and watching for enemies coming behind us, throwing grenades and stuff like that.

Sometimes PUGs are really, really good. On rare occasions everyone follows the plan.
