Hi, I am not new but I have a question...

I am told that using drones from inside of a POS Shield is considered an exploit.

But what about combat scanner probes (and probes in general)?

I don't think so. You can use probes cloaked, so using from inside a pos shouldn't be either. Probes don't do damage anyway.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

You can drop probes before entering a pos and scan the system while in the shield.

This isn't considered an exploit as you can archive the same functional immunity with a cloak ,

Drop probes before activating the cloak and scan the system while cloaked .

In both instances you have to expose yourself to risk to drop the probes,
where you able to drop probes from the safety of inside the shield you would certainly be treading the line.

If in future you do actually find something you think is an exploit , use the f12 menu and file a support ticket to get in touch with the dev/gm team.

Edit:to clarify, I wasn't being snippy there, ill happily answer your questions, just an FYI as to how to report them promptly.
