It seems that is why players saw SOE ships in Wormholes earlier last month - they're the set-up for the March update.

Yttrbium already clarified that on Reddit, saying that he was leaving March 1st (today) he would be gone although he wanted to stay until after the new structures were in place.

The SoE/Drifter thing is Project Discovery.

That is basically what I mean. Along with potential new Drifters content, Project Discovery is also being launched in the March update.
