One thing that has had me puzzled since I started this game was the fact that you need a specific point to warp to. Bookmark, station, planets, whatever..

Why not be able to warp to any point in the solar system?

With the new gorgeous maps that have been introduced recently, it would be simple to implement. Have a box/arrow feature like with the probes that would act as the warp in point.

Some people might ask, why? I ask, why not? It could be very tactically beneficial. Making safe spots and ambushes. Hide just out of range of DS and out of range of planets and then strike when your fleet is in position. And with the new citadel and all the freedom of home base, we should also get the freedom of movement to exploit it to it's greatest potential. Also, it could be fun to explore the eve universe without the requirement a fixed destination.

There is a question of how many restrictions there should be. Of course, a ship shouldn't be able to warp into the sun and orbital bodies. But should there be a restriction on how close you have to be to the sun?

....because you ain't moving but bend spacetime so much that you connect two points in space with not a straight line but a dot, thus appearing to not move in FTL speed.

If you do dat with a random spot in space

-> black hole - THE END
-> pulsar - THE END
-> magnetar -THE END
-> star - THE END
-> drifter home world - THE END
-> sometime in the past - awwww
-> sometime in the distant future - THE END

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!
