Last week we had the last CSM summit for CSM X and next week we open the election for CSM XI.

In this dev blog we go over how the summit went, share with you 79 pages of minutes from the summit, and publish the final list of candidates for the upcoming election.

Have a great weekend.

Can you sort the candidates in alphabetical order ? Or explain why they are in this order ? Makes it very hard to find a candidate on the list

As it turns out, the order is just the order they came out of the database. I'll edit in a sorted list in a moment.
EDIT: The list is now sorted (might take a few minutes to work through the various caches).

Actually, Randomization is a good thing as there is a possibility of people getting more votes if they are higher in the alphabet as lazy folks just click the first thing they see.

Thank you for the honest dev blog. I believe honesty and trust are the foundation of any strong relationship. I really appreciate you taking on that tone and if I should have the privilege of working with you, look forward to reciprocating it.

The CSM XI Election are now open until March 25th, 2016. Consider Niko Lorenzio for CSM XI.

I guess that kinda balances out with getting primaried all the time by lazy FCs P

Very nice!!

I will admit it was kind of annoying having to wait for a week or two for the notes, but the quality was far better this year than last (which I think was the point of the delay).

Well done CCP and CSM (not sure who made them but will give credit to everyone.

It was also nice that not everything was NDA blocked this year as well.

These minutes clearly show that some people have no idea how the game works (I look at you, Thoric, your responses and opinions on sov are ridiculous) and still advice CCP on the matter... and they have a potential for a flood of tears of biblical proportions. Interesting read.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Woot, we are no doubt going to see more CCP Guard / Logibro dev blogs Cool

Eve online is :

A) mining simulator B) glorified chatroom C) spreadsheets online

D) CCP Games Pay to Win at skill leveling, with instant gratification

Would prefer to see CCP taking less time with putting out Blogs and more time listening to what Players actually wanted from them tbh, Impression you get currently is 'Fozzies on a High and he just ain't listening to anyone'. Hope that does not get lost in translation...Twisted

I guess there is also the people that just can't have huge goals anymore, because they already did everything.
EVE is an old game with old players that have done everything and at the moment there is no endgame content except "more of it"

I hope there will be some stuff soon where the players have to work hard, with the possibility of failure or victory at a horrendous cost. EVE is most fun when sh*t hits the fan, you and your friends lose some stuff and you still somehow manage to complete your objective or at least save the rest of your fleet. Otherwise it is just grinding the same stuff over and over again, something I tried to avoid by playing EVE Online.

Multiboxing your 2nd, 3rd and 4th titan *huge goals each, very rare expensive and powerful* just got a little harder too, huh.

I've browsed the minutes based on section headlines and Team names (why don't they have a more descriptive name? Do we really need to know and remember that "Team size matters = UI?"), and apparently there was no specific/dedicated discussion of PvE?

It's a bit disappointing. All I've read was about Drifter incursions not working as expected... Not expected by CCP; since they're not-working exactly as anyone with, say, 7 years of experience in PvE, would expect them to "unwork".

Looks like some issues just will never be tackled. Even CCP Denebola kinda misfired; why does she focus on "things that work" rather than adress "things that horribly don't work"?

Idea for dreads:

- Change capital gun ammo to have a small radius AoE at the point of impact with the target. Not to do more damage to the target, but rounds of that size caliber should be AoE'ish on impact.

- And the reason why: Allow dread pilots to form a chain / coordinate fire / sync their weapons and achieve bombardment of a volume of space (AoE) - basically give them a mini-superweapon if multiple dreads enter this coordinated mode.
