Hi all,

The Drifter Boosters can now be found on the Singularity market for you to try out. They are designated legal boosters.
The five boosters are:

Antipharmakon Aeolis
Booster slot 1
Capacitor Modifier: 8%
Booster Duration: 30 minutes

Antipharmakon Iokira
Booster slot 2
Tracking Speed Bonus: 8%
Booster Duration: 30 minutes

Antipharmakon Kosybo
Booster slot 1
Armor Repair Bonus: 8%
Booster Duration: 30 minutes

Antipharmakon Thureo
Booster slot 1
Shield Boost Bonus: 8%
Booster Duration: 30 minutes

Antipharmakon Toxot
Booster slot 3
Flight Time Bonus: 8%
Booster Duration: 30 minutes

As a reminder, you can get three Drifter Boosters via Project Discovery. You can acquire all five variations through other means in game also. It's up to you how you want to acquire them.

Let us know what you think!

Interesting, is there more variations planned with more/less strength etc?

Neat

I am curious as to why these would be legal in HS for lore reasons? Being from such a controversial source I would assume at the very least they would be outlawed in Amarr space. I know I'm being greedy but do we get some sweet new chronicle to explain it?

While you are at it, there are too many boosters that compete for slot one. Can you put some boosters in slot 2 and 3 instead?

I wanna be really high when I fly.. and I walked right this one.

I am not talking about the most popular ones like Exile, Blue Pill, X-Tinct but Frentix, Soothsayer which then would have to compete with Crash or Drop.

And to extend on this a little more, how about creating a "first aid kit" or epi-pen kind of thing that you can inject or use as anti-booster pill that would have a chance of removing the side-effect but also the boosters (always) or even (worst case) deactivates your implants for 30 minutes.

You can take one with you, it is not contraband and you would have to wait your logoff timer to use any boosters again.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

What are the possibilities of adding more of these boosters? The reason I ask is, IMO, there is a non-trivial risk of supply outstripping demand. Especially at the 1.5 mil isk/15k AK cost, and the fact that only 3 of them are available through Project Discovery.

Some ideas:

  • Scan Resolution
  • Targeting Range
  • Signature Radius
  • Overheating
  • Agility
  • Warp Speed
  • Missile Explosion Radius
  • Missile Velocity
  • Turret Optimal Range
  • Turret Falloff
  • Turret Capacitor Use
  • EWAR Resistance: (Single type: ECM, TD, TP, SD, Neut, NOS)
  • Velocity
  • Shield/Armor/Hull Resistance (Single type: EM, THM, KIN, EXP)

And I am sure there are many more. I just don't want players to lose interest in Project Discovery because the reward isn't worth it.

Kinda sad to see missiles losing out with rang rather than application but am armor boost with no penalty will be a new mandatory with me

Also isn't the capacitor one a little strong compared to mindflood?

Not really.

An 8% boost without risk of side effects is actually rather balanced when one considers the difficulty in obtaining them through all possible means, not just including the AK store. The overall supply will be small enough that demand will likely cause them to cost a fair bit more than similar-strength boosters that have side-effects.

IDK is only 2%less than a standard mindflood it's definitely much stronger than the rest of the drifter boosters and is no harder to get

I make boosters. Been doing it for years now. Standard Mindflood gives 10%. Compared to the other boosters, this one appears OP.

+1 for a new slot 3 booster. This one will be in high demand. All of these will be in demand. No side effects and totally legal. Going to have to check out how these are acquired/made.
