[EVENT] March of the Newbros: New player event! March 2016

More Chaos are hosting a month-long public event to help new players learn more about EVE and discover its incredible community.

Every weekend in March there will be newbro-friendly fleets, in-depth classes, Q&A's and fun events by the likes of Brave Newbies Inc, Redemption Road, Karma Fleet and more.

We've also arranged a panel of new player alliances that will go over what they have to offer new players such as training, incentives, programmes, and different aspects of the game that their alliance covers
AND
a newbro resources showcase where folks can find out about a bunch of the public resources available out there, from CCP Mimic's Flight Academy videos to EVE University's wiki and public classes!

This coming weekend we have even more goodies for you, including classes on roleplay, trading, industry and a bunch of fleets that promise to be a LOT of fun as well as a New Player Resources showcase with CCP Mimic, EVE Uni and others telling folks about some of the great public resources on offer! Just curious about the scheduled times. Is it because of the timezone differences?

It's a lil' odd looking at 00:00, 03:00 and then suddenly 19:00? Bed-time in the middle? :D

I'm thinking of giving it a go on the saturday event. Personally a 1st month player.

Look forward to seeing you there Nade! And we do have many different alliances/people involved but I think the 5:00 to 16:00 time tends to be much slower in the game.

This weekend we have a really cool line-up.

March 19th

00:00 - short class with Unstable Unit about different aspects of the UI and just to answer general questions
3:00 - Fleet with Eve Uni
19:00 - A class on how to move your assets around safely with Red Frog (or if you want to learn how to make iskies moving other peoples stuff)
22:00 - How to Scam/Avoid being Scammed by Brave
23:30 - Frigate pvp 1v1 with E-Uni

Sunday 20th
01:00 - We will have an ingame chat with some of the higher up ISD guys, they will be answering questions about what they do and also information that lots of new players like to ask
2:00 - PVP 101 with Noir Academy (learn to bookmark, dscan, use fleet interface and more)
19:00 - Fleet with PFR (have some fun in pvp ventures!)
22:00 - What is the Metagame with KarmaFleet

00:00 - History of Null Sec - The Halloween story (With KarmaFleet)
19:00 - Null Sec 101 - Come learn how to survive in Null and make iskies too (With PFR)
20:30 - Intro to Fleet Ops - Come learn the basics of fleeting with your fellow mates (WIth RvB)
22:00 - FAF Fleet - Fast frigate fleet - Come out and fly with other new players and some experienced players to show you the way (With Brave)

00:15 - Faction Warfare - Come find out what it is about and how to join (With Black Fox Marauders)
01:00 - Roleplay - Come learn more about the various role playing communities and how to join in (With Hematology Advancement Program)
15:00 - Wormhole Life - Come along on a fleet to learn how to find wormholes and then all the fun stuff to do in them (With Interstellar Expeditionary Group)

I think a Burn Code Event should be part of the tour.

Simply take the Rookies to a Code Burn system where Code is burning and teach the Rookies how to target from their optimal and long range.
