I used to own several dogs in my life, one of the dogs in particular I love most. Mostly white in color and his name was Billy. He is never aggressive to any stranger and I don't generally let him out and coming back home, but one day, he never came back. I love dogs way more than I do for cats.

I also own three cats. Well, not really, but my sister does and I help take care of them cats. One cat in particular, have perfect "mustache" that look just like hitler's. So his name is Hitler. He was super, duper cute when he was little. Proof here!

I got 3 turtles to play as real life FishVille, and 2 newly added parakeets (budgies) to the family. Training my budgies atm. :) Used to have a baby bunny, forgot what its called, but it died a week later. :( I made a terrible feeding mistake and I was down for 2 days straight. Had fun playing with the little bugger :(

We have two dogs running around the house, one is a German shepherd mix 8 months old, the other one is an English cocker spaniel with delusions of grandeur.

According to Betty, which is the spaniel, literally everything around the house is hers and must be defended from the evil invading shepherd we got two months ago :)

I guess we should have known better than trying to get the English and German to share territory :P

I like both.

Dogs provide companionship. They're that good friend that wants to do stuff with you, likes to hang out with you, and will go out of his way to cheer you up.

Cats provide comfort. They're more like someone who will just quietly sit with you, leaving you to your own thoughts but being there if you need them. I can't think of much better than an affectionate cat when I'm feeling quiet and introspective.

Right now I don't have either, but there's a black cat that has adopted my family and lives in our garage. She's taken to riding along with me when I go on short errands and comes in the house every chance she gets. The kids love her.
