If citadels are going to be fully replacing outposts in the future, I would hope they also include a ship insurance service module. I think it would significantly liven up parts of New Eden to more capital combat. (WH Bois get to drop caps like no tomorrow, that **** would be HOT).

It's exactly what makes many people come outside and play. You don't like shooting more ships?

I hate insurance - can't remember the last ship I insured.

Insurance is for chumps. Don't be a chump.

I don't insure ship, it's a waste of ISK, either you have enought ISK to afford to loose a ship or not.

If it goes onto player, it's possible to implement it I think.
But the price for insuring a ship is going to be much highter than the actual one.

Or you enter the gray area of peole insuring to a broke insurance company, well this will work... in fact if you see my point...

Insurance is you simply betting that your ship is going to die within 90 days.

Insurance in a Citadel would certainly be nice. My Wormhole corp would be able to insure mining ships, battleships etc, all those ships that are worth insuring and you lose them from time to time in PVP. I wouldnt also roam in my battleship if I were to lose 300 mil ISK instead of 100 mil ISK I lose when I insure it. Insurance makes the game and PVP especially much more diverse and playable. Arguments that insurance is useless based on "I am an elitist who doesnt lose ships soooo ... nobody needs insurance" are just plain dumb and you guys should be concerned about health of the game in general, not just your killboards.

This is incorrect. Multiple devblogs have stated that the new structures (citadels and the others coming "soon") will fully replace starbases and outposts. Read the long term transition plan of the " back into structure" devblog for example.
