I have an open ticket regarding being scammed during a purchase via character bazaar for 6 days now with no response.

Any chance you could let me know how long it takes to actually get a response please

It'll take as long as it takes, and - as the ISD will say when they lock this thread - it's something that can only be resolved through the petition system. Be patient.

I would take a guess the petition system is pretty backed up right now due to increased activity with regards to SP trading and character trading.

Character selling scams are taken seriously by CCP, but unfortunately it can take a while to resolve.

Further to what Loyd said, they also have to dig through the correspondence between the two parties to make sure it's an actual scam and not some miscommunication or misunderstanding in how the process works.

But it will get cleared up. It always has for me and anyone else I know that has gotten stuck in that situation.

just ignore your petition and it will be handled asap. don't add or modify it, leave it alone.

it will take some time. and this thread will be locked

It takes a while to do a proper investigation. There are mail, forum, server logs and a whole host of things CCP will check. It takes time.

As this issue can only be handle via petition, I will lock this thread.
