Hey everyone, I am getting back into Eve after a couple year break, and I was looking to get more into the industry side of the game. In the past when I played, I just kind of ran missions and didn't really know what I was doing. I would like to get into planetary interactions, and manufacturing. I have tried to look into this myself, but I receive a flood of information that I cannot interpret. I am looking for someone to coach me a little bit on manufacturing and planetary interactions. If anyone has some spare time and would like to help a noob, please reply here or message me in game. Thank you all so much!

There are plenty of newbro friendly Industry corps out there that are willing to help you learn the ropes, these you can find in the corp finder in game, but the likelihood of finding one that will throw you into their personal wormhole (where the best PI happens) right as you join are slim.

Most corps will want to get to know you and see how reliable you are ("is he a spai", basically).

I suggest starting in a highsec corp that has ties to low/null, they can get you into a WH fairly fast and most have boosts and blueprints available for members.

My EVE-mail inbox never closes.

EDIT: I also post a lot. Chances are any question you have is in there.

EDIT #2: One of many rabbit holes.

I started by salvaging all the loot from missions and reprocessing it into minerals. At first I was just manufacturing my own tech I ammo but then just bought a BC of a battle cruiser that had like 15 runs. Once I gathered enough ore I would make a ship and sell it. This quickly evolved to using a mining alt and PI and even hooking up with some local miners and began a small manufacturing process. I never got into spreadsheets ... I do too much of that in real life... I just had fun with it and used my mission loot in a way I felt was smart.

Keep in mind... I'm pretty much a solo player so this may not fit your play style.

Keep it simple, start learning one thing at a time.

Let it be for example planetary interaction or T1 ammo production. Choose one. Do not try to learn both at the same time.
PI would be easiest imo as you don't really need external programs & sheets for it.

After you have chosen the one thing, go to youtube and search for videos and replicate those things in the game.
