[IDEA] Enhance forums engagement by simple feature

A lot of the times I would be interested in the forum threads my ingame spaceship friends are subscribed or responded to.

Feature idea: let me see the forum posts/subscriptions of my corpies+alliance mates so I can see what conversations they are active in so I can join in on it too.

What do you think?

This already exists. There's an option in the search feature to search for posts made by particular characters. Search their names, find their threads, subscribe to them.

Alternately, you could go the radical route and actually converse with your corp/alliance mates and find out what they're talking about on forums.

I would settle for an option to jump to the next Dev post in a thread. When a new patch or feature is anounced, it would be great to avoid all the complaints and redundant information and just skip straight to the Dev responses. Yes, I know you can filter posts in the search feature to dev posts, but it would be nice to have something for staying in one thread.

As far as I know this does not exist.

And while I agree with Iain's general take on the suggestion, I would not mind some cleaner, better readable summary of threads of alliance/corp members listed, for instance, in the corporation forum section at the top of the forum in order to give this utterly useless part of the forum a bit more usefulness. Of course, you should also be able to subscribe to that by RSS/Atom or whatever people use these days.
