People claiming this ain't right and that's wrong and somehow CCP has totally ruined it for all hands and now they can't make but so much ISK an hour and somehow, somebody has acquired more SP than they should and that back in the middle ages this was such a wonderful game and now it's ruined. I don't understand half the references (although I think I have a glimmering of what nerfed means) and sometimes these forums read like Klingon, or one of those other languages like Russian and Mandarin that I'd really like to learn but as I'm an American I can't half speak English right.

But earlier I flew three ships through stunning, graphics heavy space into null-sec, picked a fight with some mean and rude rats (Admiral Rats!), came out of it with a few scratches and dents along with some impressive loot/salvage, jumped back into hi-sec, flew another character and ship into a Serpentine Refuge, killed a bunch more rats, looted/salvaged, swapped characters with my factory alt, loaded a factory that began three manufacturing jobs and at sessions end the bottom line was I simply had a lot of fun.

And that's how you judge a game: Did you have fun playing it? If not, and it's become a chore, then it's time to go. But please, don't waste your time telling me what's all wrong with this game as I probably wouldn't understand half of what your trying to tell me.

tldr

"I like the game. Not sure what all the fuss is. Maybe try having fun instead of just concentrating on the glory days."

At least that's what I got from it.

Awash in a sea of abbreviations I had to look up tldr, apparently it means too long; did not read. I suspect the problem was too many word with too many syllables.

Characters with many, many likes. More time in forums than in-game, methinks?

I love this game but with varying levels of intensity. Depends on failure/success at the whole flight/fight thing.

This is like that.

When you have been building a character for 7+ years, slowly, day by day.. minute by minute. Learning and growing with the game along with your character.. looking forward to those 50+ day skills.. And when you finally get that JDC V or Carrier V... or Heavy Drones V. Or you dedicate a year to the goal of getting all 4 racial BS to V and finish literally hours before the ball drops in Times Square...

You will never understand. It bred a certain loyalty and uniqueness that could be found NOWHERE else in the gaming industry.

CCP has literally devalued all that time and dedication and loyalty to each other as players and shat on all of us REAL Eve players for the sake of small-minded dikwads who get bored with the latest version of COD for a few days.

Eve WAS our game. Now our time has literally been stolen from us.
