Just a thought here... seeing that there is a " reconnect to lost drones" that is a right click option or can be mapped to a hot key, but why is there no "Abandon Drones" option ...to me this makes no sense and would be a good idea to be added into the game....

Feed Back is welcomed and i would also like a DEV / GM input on this as well please

It is called warping off. The best and most highly rated way of abandoning ones drones.
Doesn't work well in real life with children however.

Why a request for just a lowly DEV / GM? You should demand VP attention for this game changing idea. It's been like 3 or 4 years since a player has exposed an oversight of this magnitude. HOTKEYS are serious business.

(I've forwarded this to the UN security council, they should have a white paper out for you in about 3 days)

as for warping off...what if you would rather stay an fight......if so right now you have to right click...find the right menu and then click...THEN..launch more drones.........but you only have yo press 1 button if you have reconnect mapped to a key...so this does not really make sense to me...i mean why have 1/2 of something but not the other half...thats like ...having a car with no tires or a gun with no ammo...OR ..a cake with no icing..........just dont seem right to me....

There's no hot key for abandoning drones because if there were people would press it by accident at some point and complain that it should be removed. Why would you want to abandon them anyway?
