Hey all,

im just back after a year long absence - is Mission Running still the best way to make large amounts of ISK solo?

Sad

Depends on your ship/fitting skills.

If you can fly competently fit logistics cruiser or battleship/T3 cruiser, the answer is "Incursions". You may have to invest few hundred million ISK to your ship and read up a bit on how they are done, but once you are over that hurdle, they beat missioning by a mile.

Edit: And yeah, Incursions do not qualify as Solo but they are done in high sec empire as pickup groups. Not hard to get a group if you have half a clue.

Join a corp that does incursions. That is easiest money ATM. Jump into train and take your share before it gets nerfed :)

you can join public incursion groups as well, but be sure to link a fake fit for your ship so you look better than you really are and get picked up real quick.

...and die when your ships tank turns out to be fiction?

Faking your fitting and then dying because your tank melts before any logistics can realistically catch you would be silly. Incursion-fit (for VGs) is not expensive. You do need some fitting skills to do proper T2-tanked fit, but that's about it. In my experience any properly fit ship - even with just Tech 2 modules - will get picked up these days. So many fleets going on around.

Well, Trading can make a /lot/ of money, without a /huge/ investment of SP. but it does require a higher investment of thought.

Woo! CSM XI!

no, you need to fake faction and deadspace where you in reality have t2.
noone can tell (because it's silly to fit those modules anyway), but all gear score chasing wow kids will be pleased

Seriously. If you're not going to pull your weight, don't sign up in the first place. Lying about your fit is just going to get you invited to fewer gangs for your dishonesty.

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....

I'm also interested in getting into incursions. The past few months I've only logged in to queue skills and do the occasional level 4 mission, but I'm bored out of my mind. I am not making a lot of ISK either.

Would training for this be a good idea you think?: http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/57086-Scimitar-Tracking-Link-with-Max-Repair-Output.html
