Hey all o/

since yesterday evening when i click on a reddit link on Total Eve i get only 404 error. Anyone else or is it just me?

Yes I also have the 404 error and there appears to be an issue with their links:

No Total Eve does not give 404. Go down to the reddit links and click on one of those. See the 404.

Hey just an FYI i run total eve, it was an error in how the RSS feeds from reddit were being parsed and we fixed it later on that day.

Also how are you liking the site?

It always was a favorite site i had at least opened 5 times a day. Unfortunately because of this i have now reddit saved as bookmark (and even signed up there, damn) and thus opening Total EVE way less than before.

Also it gets meanwhile many feeds i am not interested but that´s no problem as i am sure someone other is interested. And some minor bugs (sometimes a feed gets not loaded correctly and thus you have to scroll 5 A4 lenghts down the site to see the next feeds) making scrolling really annoying atm. But your site is great as we don´t have to look for every single post on our own. Keep up the good work

I know about that bug, not much we can do as an old API call we used to use via google was killed off which meant we had to recode the site from the ground up and do some of the pulling on the server side rather than client side of the browser. also the reason we have all the feeds from all the sites is so that its a one stop shop for all the info.

RSS feeds do weird crap sometimes. Fortunately, Wiggles and Dirk (and the rest of the Total Eve team) put more work into it than medically recommended and when things wonk up they usually have it fixed pretty quickly.
