Removal of Skills with 0 SP

CCP needs to pull it head our of its a** and allow players to remove skills that have 0 sp in them. I don't care about the books, if I did I wouldn't want to remove them in the first place.

I want the ability to remove stupid "mining" skill off my PVP character.

Why CCP hasn't put this in is beyond me, only reason i can think of is they're not smart enough to implement the feature or they just simply don't care about their player bases needs.

I also wouldn't mind removing all Amarr related skills off my Minmatar char for immersion/rp reasons. Should have never trained lasers on him over glorious artillery and autocannons :'(

I'd also like to remove mining, although I also would like to be able to trash the sp attached to it as it's too small an amount to put into a sp packet.

As nice as it would be, it'll never happen. It'll end up breaking more than it fixes.

Here's what CCP could do, though. Allow us the option of starting characters with zero SP and zero skill books injected.

Sure, it's not what you're asking for, but it's not a bad option going forward. And with the new skill packs, a viable option indeed.
