Why do you equate black to Arifcan Amerikan?

Why assume all blacks are from Africa and live in Amerika?

I didn't come up with the PC term but if their is a new one I would gladly switch to a more PC one.

I am guessing someone making tests for US Public Schools would be an American.

Nah, test making has been off-shored to India.

Though some of you might not get it, this is a small video made of children regarding color choices in Mexico, questions are simple, like "Which color is better?" "which color is BAD/wrong?" "Which color is closest to you?" and that's mexico friends.

Racism is strong everywhere. Leaves you wondering.

I lived in Norcross and Lilburn Georgia as a kid for about 3 years. Never noticed any racist ideology, but that was in the late 80s.

I never bought into the politically correct thing :)

A black person is just a person with darker skin colors, just as I am a white person with lighter skin colors. I see no reason to use any 'politically correct' words for that. It is what it is.

And if I was a black dude from say Asia, I would not be happy to be called African American since I would be neither :P

Too me this oversensitiveness seems to be pushing the issue of racism the wrong way. Maybe it is just me. ;)

Derp, only skin colour? What about different shape of skull, wider nose, longer arms, narrower hips, higher testosterone levels? I am not even talking about mentality and IQ, to prevent some rage in this thread. Races are very different.

To be, or not to be, that's the question.

Yes, and? Still human. I am different form other "whites" as well. Skin color just happens to be easily visible, the internal genetic makeup can be a mix of anything.

Pitiful.

I have a seven-year-old son who we're hoping to home school next year. The school he's at now has been quite good, but the next level up is notorious for cheating teachers and petty squabbles over test scores. I saw it first hand when I worked for the schools' IT department.

He's on a fourth grade reading level, can explain science principles my wife's sixth grade students haven't grasped, and plays the violin reasonably well for someone who barely practices. Unfortunately the schools didn't have much to do with most of that.

I am already well aware. Of course there are differences in genes. But humans have mixed long enough that it is highly irrelevant (culturally, and more and more genetically). Humans are humans, and we look different. One cannot tell to much form skin color except to see it is another human, and the skin color is different.

Sure, its genetical difference. But it seems you don't notice fact, that people are not completely dispersed in world, there are huge regions where they share pretty much identical properties. For example , most people in China has narrow eyes. Is this coinscidence to you?

By the way , race tells lot's of about people ancestry. For example those early humans, who decided to leave Africa, entering harsh and colder regions, had to change aswell - to survive winter, they had to be more awared and look further in the future. Also it meant less breeding, and be more crafty, to make better clothes and huts. We are shaped by environment. That's the key genetic differences, not only appearance.

To be, or not to be, that's the question.

Our modern environment has much more to do with our performance than historic environments from so long ago. Hell, the environments are so dramatically different that any claim like this is utterly devoid of meaning because one party or the other may be optimized for the wrong set of preconditions. And even still, a few generations of interbreeding is enough to mostly homogenize away any advantage your "superior, crafty" ancestors may have had over mine.

Also, have you ever considered that the people who got forced to move up north were those who weren't smart enough or clever enough or tough enough to stay closer to the equator where they could have such easier lifestyles?

I don't even know what point you are trying to drive home. I have acknowledge already that there are differences (just as we here in north are for instance resistant some certain diseases the rest of the world is not, and blacks generally run faster). But we are all still human, and I could care less about small differences.

Of course the differences has a reason, that much is quite obvious to anybody.

I don't even know what point you are trying to make.
