Just curious if anyone out there sitll builds these? is it really better off to just buy one or would there be any value in mining up the componets needed and making one yourself? thoughts?

Got one on speculation. Can't get any worse, might get much better.

Run the numbers. If you can sell the ore for more than it would cost to buy the rorqal, then that's the best bet P

You also have to take into consideration how much faster you'll be mining with the rorq as opposed to while mining up to make it yourself. Usually it's best to buy one either off of someone giving up on mining, or an already established group that can make them fast.
