Cynosural notification

I wouldn't mind a small light or notification on the HUD somewhere that notifies us when a new cynosural field is available in your fleet.

Might save abuse the Context menu gets while waiting for the cyno to go up. Sometimes you can't trust people to tell you or broadcast it.

This is what comms are for.

You: When's the cyno up?
FC: Just hold your fu...
Cyno Pilot: Cyno up
FC: ..ing... everyone jump

Stop being a troll.

It's ridiculous expecting everyone to be on comms 23/7.

This wouldn't have to be the case if there was a fleet cyno notification.

Although I appreciate you being enough of a fan to post on every single post I put on these forums. Thanks

When did I say anything about being on comms 23/7? If you're in fleet, you should be on comms, even if you're just listening.

Beside that, I don't post in every thread you put on these forums, just the ones that contain bad ideas.

No, he's quite a bit more coherent than Yige. His ideas aren't any better, but he is more coherent.

I think he's only expecting you to be on comms when you're trying to find out if a cyno is up or not. Simmer down laddie.

No, I really do mean that if you're in a fleet, you should be on comms. I've tried the FC thing, I know how much work a good FC does. It's too much for me to want to do as a method of relaxation, so I don't FC anymore. That said, in every single fleet I FC'd, if you weren't on comms, you got kicked from my fleet. I had enough to do trying to keep from whelping the fleet to be bothered typing instructions to those who couldn't be arsed to listen to comms.

If your in fleet for an op, yes it's acceptable to expect people to be on comms.

Although some alliances and coalitions have 'standing fleets' for quick response or defenses. And now and then there's a need for a fast cyno somewhere before people are on comms.

Sorry I wasn't more specific

If you're in a standing fleet, you should be in comms as well. You don't have to talk/be social/etc, but there's no excuse to not be logged into comms when in a standing fleet.

If you really really really can't have people on comms to be noticed when the cyno goes up, you could always have them paying attention to fleet chat and notice them there...
