I have a question on the Fanfest Sisters of Eve ticket. I've been email CCP and so far cannot get a clear answer.

The regular tickets are ~ $200.
Sisters of Eve ticket is $275.

Does a Sisters of Eve ticket include regular Fanfest access for me, and then the tour and party access for my wife? all in one ticket?

CCP is telling me that the Sisters of Eve ticket is JUST the tour and party access. Since googling the Golden Circle tour show it to cost around $75.. that is one hell of an expensive party.

does anyone know from experience?

TL/DR: How many tickets do I need to buy for me to attend fanfest and my wife to go on the tour/party?

What is sisters of EVE and why is it more expensive?

The Sisters of EVE program is a chance for players to bring their wives, husbands, boyfriends, girlfriends, or just friends, to accompany them on the trip to Iceland and participate in this most adventurous of excursions. We take this group on a guided tour on the Friday of Fanfest. Not only that, but SoE pass holders are invited to join in at the Party at the Top of the World on Saturday night! The higher ticket price covers the SoE package only and does not grant entry to Fanfest. A normal ticket is needed to go to Fanfest as well.

You will need two tickets.

thanks!

Considering the cost of the tour.. that is some serious money grabbing by CCP.

LOL you clearly have no idea how much it costs in dollars and time to put on events.

Just to add some insight on the cost of things, we don't make a dime off Fanfest. It's not there to make us money. We host Fanfest because of the great effect it has on the community and relationships between players and between players and staff. We have to charge enough to make at least a chunk of the cost back, but we're not in it for the margins.

dude, I've been to 4 hour seminars that cost as much as that. That's a pretty reasonable price for an event of that size.

I did finally get a much better explanation from CCP that the SOE tour is not the golden circle tour and will apparently include much more. so the ticket price now seems reasonable.

Thanks for the replies.

They take you to Björk's house where she treats you to macro-biotic, sugarfree brownies and a few Icelandic folk tunes she beats out on an empty ice tray with a wooden spoon!
