replacements for POS'es still planned?

So I poked around on Google looking for information I remember reading about on here awhile back, but I can't seem to find it and I am hoping someone on here can help. I remember CCP revealing some structure platforms that were to replace POS'es. There were a few different versions, each designed to do a certain job, like mining or research. I'm wondering if these platforms were still going to be released into game, and if so, does anyone know when CCP plans on doing this?

Citadels (general stations and market hubs) are coming this summer. The other platforms will be gradually rolled out after that and replace certain POS functionality as they become available. So expect this entire process to last at least another year if not longer.

My personal favorite was making designs with all the mods.

One corpmate (director) likes to screw with me by moving modules by 1 position cube.

Ya, I'm OCD enough to notice.

I used 3D trig to make sure all the modules were perfectly placed.

I can now setup a perfect geometric POS module pattern by memory, and as quickly as they can be anchored, and I have taught others to do the same. It really is simple once you know how.

We use to do that all the time to another corp mate, swapping modules with each other just to see if he would notice. Drove him up a wall, but even then he was laughing his ass off afterwards too. As long as we didn't leave things on that were not suppose to be on and things off that needed to stay up.

Though, I can't really say I'll miss the way it all works now; POS UI is such a pain in the ass to manage and work with, so many times I though, "Why show me this but no where does it show me that," and "Why is this on this page and not that one?" Not to mention, as someone who is also OCD, the way you place mods is quite a bit...iffy, to say the list. And, as for the camera while doing all this, just like the cam in Shogun Total War, they can both go straight to hell in a handbag. Personally, I cannot wait for Citadels to get here. Sooner the better.

I'm starting to think EVE is a refuge for OCD.

Go OCB instead!
