Void S versus Dread Gurista Antimatter charge

Is there any reason to prefer Dread Gurista AM over Void S, assuming I have max skills? Ship is an Enyo with Light Neutron Blaster IIs.

The DG does a little bit more DPS, has -50% range penalty versus void -25%, but void has 0.75x falloff modifier. The DG is much more expensive.

At a guess, like me, Bumblefck can't figure out if you're legit asking a question, or being a forum troll.

A TWELVE year old character constantly asking the kinds questions we usually see from a bright eyed, two month-in newbro causes more than just a little cognitive dissonance.

In any event, he's right. At ISK35/throw for Void S vs ISK24,000/throw for the pirate Antimatter S charges, it becomes a very simple choice for most. The not insignificant point you missed while pondering these matters of great import, was the 0.75x tracking modifier on the T2 blaster ammo. Antimatter tracks better than Void.

That horrifically expensive pirate ammo generally only sees *widespread use* (for want of a better term) at events like the Alliance Tournament. Or when those few who actually possess AT prize ships decide to go derping around in public for hilarity and lulz.

Anti matter for tracking small fast **** like drones,
Void for anything you don't need antimatter to track.

Seriously mate, this is basic stuff.

You being personally offensive is not conducive to getting your question answered, nor is it really appropriate to the spirit of the forums.

As both Mephiztopheleze and Ralph have pointed out explicitly (and what I was pointing out implicitly), was that the tracking on the faction ammo is 25% greater than on Void, and that in many cases is enough reason to use it (or another faction variant).

Besides - all of this is moot as you yourself have admitted to me, personally, that you are nothing but a third-rate troll. I don't normally publicise EVE mails to back up a point
, but in this case I feel I have to as your nonsense is now just annoying, not amusing in the slightest.

Void ammo also has a tracking penalty.

PvE/Rat = I don't care

PvP = I do care

You can go ahead and use faction ammo on rats

Or just fly lazors

I'm actually just the opposite of this.

PvE: I use T1 ammo

PvP: I use Faction Ammo because I DO CARE.

Yea my bad. What I meant is
I do care what the price when pve/ratting so I use cheaper ammo

And I don't care what the price is when I pvp so I use faction/T2 ammo

typically in pve using faction ammo is worth it as it increases the amount of isk you can make per unit of time more than the cost of the faction ammo.

my main issue with using something like DG antimatter is finding a supply of it. a typical stack might cost more than your ship. Makes sense to fit for something like the alliance tournament, but for ordinary activities I wouldn't use it. I probably would just use CN/FN antimatter as it is much easier to get.
