Faction standings cannot be shared by fleet mechanics, so no-one can sell you them.

Consider running the data centers. Search evelopedia for them. Train social 5 first to get the most out of them.

also consider running the caldari and amarr cosmos missions, used to take about 2 days to go from 1.0 faction > 5-6 without any problems

that guide might be a little old, but was still what i was using up until a about 2014ish.... might help you, but i always say run both caldari and amarr as the faction standings bleed from one to another.
