I've been looking around for the formula to calculate the effectiveness of remote repair modules at range. Need it to make some graphs. I haven't had much success in finding one, does anyone have it or can point me in the right direction?

I would try this on SiSi and have a corpmate be your "victim" for trying this out in optimal and the end of falloff and 2x falloff.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

They already provided graphs in the thread, are those not good enough? Did you try asking for the formula there?

Doesn't give me a graph

No, they aren't good enough, they don't show unbonused reps. I highly doubt a dev will see my post at this point.

Looks like they just used the chance to hit formula and converted it to % effectiveness. Compare charts here versus what the chance-to-hit formula gives here.

Since, yes, they appear identical, we can conclude that:

$$Effectiveness = 0.5^{(max(0,\frac{range-optimal}{falloff}))^2}$$

Thanks!
