To be entirely fair, playing the stock market is a hell of a lot less risky than gambling. Let's take GM as an example. Yes, you could have lost every share you own when they when bankrupt in 2009. Absolutely...however, GM's sales and profits had been on the decline for years and years prior to that...the writing was most certainly on the wall.

When you put your coins into a slot machine anything could happen there isn't any writing on any wall...its a literal craps roll.

It sounds plausible enough tonight, but wait until tomorrow. Wait for the common sense of the morning.

You don't actually lose shares in the stock market. You still have those. They just lose their alleged value. Or, if things are peachy in the finance world, they gain in value. Warren Buffet became rich waiting for downturns in the market when people who don't really understand stock panic-sell their stocks as worthless. He buys them for oh so cheap, then holds onto them as they again rise in value. Funny, huh?

Where you gamble in the stock market is dealing with people who control the market who are not exactly on the up and up. You don't know when someone is going to pull some funny business and artificially trash the value of stocks across the board. However, if you just hold onto your stock, instead of letting Warren Buffet get it, you'll be looking at its value rise again, not him.

ISK doubling isn't gambling either. So-called ISK doublers are going to keep your money. There's no doubt about that. They will double small amounts (which may not seem so small to YOU) to lure you into finally sending that LARGE amount, which they will then (without a doubt) KEEP.

Gambling is when you can't be sure of an outcome. It could be this. It could be that. You'll just have to wait and SEE.
With ISK doublers, the outcome is assured, and you'll eventually get there. "He's got my ISK, and I don't!"

As long as the tale of the hunt is told by the hunter, and not the lion, it will favor the hunter.

Just be glad the bonus room is gone.
You could have lost a lot more than just your isk.
