Madame,,

I have sent you a Com Message and a Contract with one Tritanium seeking an answer to the following question.

What is the expected reward for contracting to you a bunch of Research Components?

Since you only want them in specific low sec systems, which makes the delivering pilot a prime target, the reward has to be equal or greater than the risk that a pilot will be expected to have.

I have a nice number of these Research Components taken back from various Sansha Research Complexes. If you want me to even bother to attempt to get them back to you, I must have a response to my communications.

Ms Branalle claimes to be a Special Accounts Manager with the Intaki Bank representing the Upwell Consortium. I have been asking around, and no one has gotten anything from her or they are waiting, like I am, to see if the risk is worth the reward.

It appears that Ms Branalle is no better than any new Trade Hub scammer. She expects you to blindly contract her something and "hope" that she will make good on some "unknown" reward.

Well, I am not fresh away from home, nor fresh out of the Academy. If she thinks she is pulling a clever scam, she needs to go take lessons from the very successful ladies working scams in Amarr and other Trade Hubs.

Has anyone gotten anything from her yet? So far, it does not look like it.

I'm sorry Ser Gaufres, but if you want to contribute with data files that you happen across to the Upwell Consortium or any other entity for the advancement of science, donating is its own reward. These files are no worth to the general capsuleer, so withholding them from the interested parties because you can't profit from them is a really dishonorable thing to do.

Had there been more donations back when the Tactical Destroyers were being developed, perhaps the Caldari State would have come on top of the race. Alas, that wasn't the case.

But sadly there hasn't been any recent announcements of these "donations" in the official channels as far as I'm aware, so you are acting on a rumor or inside corporate information not disclosed to the public.

Just sell that data to any other capsuleer who may be interested in collecting it and forget all that bullshit 'bout "donations" and "self-rewarding".

Alternatively, the Signal Cartel are offering an alternative Research Component deposit service where components can be contributed from any station and four contributing pilots are in with a chance of winning an extension to their Pilot's Licenses.

It appears that Ms Branalle has seen the light and open up the contracting to other places than risky low sec locations. Their security is lacking enough that losses of Research Components would just be another unnecessary complication.
