Gaming in Stations
Walking in Stations had some promises that would have increased game play, but some of those feature didn’t really need to be avatar based. Ie Setting up a personal merchant shop, casino, mind clash arcade, Bots to complete one on one services (Player adventures, recruiting , propaganda, Your own alliance loyalty store).
So what things you think would be fun for a single player to build a Station to make it feel like your home, without having to rely on avatars.

I remember when they added walking in stations. It was very unpopular. Many people thought it was a waste of game resources for a few station spinners and carebears. Since then they have not done much with walking in stations. I doubt most people use it. ive personally only walked around a station 2 or 3 times since it was added.

The idea of eve is to get people out of stations and blowing stuff up. This is what a majority of players want is content that isnt in a station. A station is to store your stuff, refit, and safe up. Otherwise people want to be out in space doing spacey things.

Sometimes you are the squirrel and sometimes you are the nut. Today, you are the nut and the squirrel is hungry.

the idea of eve is to get players to interact with each other in meaningful ways

now don't take that as me saying i think they should look back at anything from incarna

but it is very important to remember that eve is not just about blowing things up that is just one way ppl interact

Imagine ccp implementing casinos in stations, random noob buys 10 plex for rl cash, throws isk into the casino, loses it all then starts complaining that ccp fixed it to make money from people, im sure there would have to be some regulations as it would be tied to rl money in some way.

And yes this gets covered pretty much everyday, do a search, ccp dont need to do it because its already done by 3rd party websites etc

Would be interesting if those 3rd party services can be seamlessly integrated into the game.

The stations will no longer be as safe as before with the new citadels now being destroy-able.

The activities in the stations I would like to see encourage outside station iteration like indirect player created content. (ie Alliance mission agents.) Get out there to be active, scanning, mining, PI, Patroling, Scouting, Assaulting,

Strange my alliance members have missions and I don't need an npc to give them out

your kinda asking for npc's to give people something which alliance leadership could/should do, its sorta removing interaction from the game and replacing with ai

I remember it was the station spinners who were complaining the hardest because we wanted the hangar back.

Stations are not going to be destroyable. Citadels will be and POS & eventually outposts will be phased out. But Stations will remain as they are currently.

Give leadership or line pilots tools so they can do their job better. Putting the control of purchased/hired NPC's in the control of the players. Giving pilots more options and reasons to be in space and letting the content creators add to the game.

Doh! I did not clarify- This would be a Cidital only option

NPC stations should feel like hotel rooms, and PC Ciditals should feel like homes
