I do not get on the forums much, and I'm sure someone has thought about this, it might even be in the works.

What do you guys think about seeing a Caldari and Minmatar pirate ship. The ships bonuses could be to ECM for the Caldari half, and maybe Speed bonus to the Minmatar half.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

I would imagine that adding them as an official, flyable pirate race would necessitate them getting their own unique hulls, like the other pirates have.

The Serps have only one unique hull - that of the Daredevil. The rest are based on current Gallente designed ships.

The EoM are one of the last pirates factions in EVE with very littlle known about them, and hopefully, they will get the improvements to their lore (and hopefully appearance in game) that they richly deserve.

And I honestly view that as a problem as well. The Guristas, less so because of the whole lore of "who stole the design from who" thing, but the Serpentis really should have their own hulls imo.

ok, anyone remember the cavalry raven, it was a set up that flew as fast as the missiles it launched. Fly directly towards the enemy and all missile volleys hit at once.

so maybe a pirate faction with -50% missile velocity, +200% bonus to flight time

and if it would not make them too op, can fit covert ops cloaks

If you want to redo a cavalry raven, you need the ship to go fast, not the missile to go slow. Missiles going slow only mean people will outrun them...

It would indeed be cool to see some kind of Minmataldari pirate faction, perhaps wielding some glorious/horrendous combination of the Tornado and the Naga. Tornagado, anyone?

Would have to have a pretty good backstory, however.

Isn't there like the Tukkar Tribe (probably spelled wrong) that are more along the line of the "out cast/siders" of the Minnie. Could give them special ships with Caldari bonuses.
