I compile market data for my app so I decided to share them.

Hello, is to much to ask to you if you could put an access to a db with this info so we could only download a range of the history data inside that file?

Like, query that file only for last week data.

Hello, sorry for the late reply, i had too much work this week ^^

@Messenger : it's about 1 year and few months.

@Evalla : I'm really concerned about having my DB opened on internet, because of security reasons.
But if your need is only one week I can easily create a second dump with only one week. Big smile

Well, that just would be great. Since I just need the history everyday from the 5 main regions. And it takes me 5hs to download with my third world connection. hahaha

EDIT:

And, what about creating a 2nd DB just for the 5 main regions? Well, I think it's a service you could provide since you upadate it everyday. But any of the above would work good for me.

I'l start to set up the first solution for you :)

Then i'll see what kind of solution i can found for a secure database connection.

So i'm interested, what are you doing, an app ?

EDIT : i created a dump for the last 7 days. Can you check if it match your needs ?

If there is interest I could provide dumps of (not entirely complete / contiguous) market history data going back to December 2009 and (estimated realistic) market prices going back to May 2012.

I just downloaded it. Let me check it.

How much time does it take you everyday to update the items for all 5 main stations?


I'm developing an app, the main use is to know "what to station trade" doing some cheap statistics.
So, for now I just use "last week" market history data to make those statistics. It is like a level 1 aproximation, and thinking of developing some sort of number model to include more history data.

I really don't know if it would be good if I give out the binaries since everybody would have the same data.. So, for the time being I really don't find a good aproach to distribute it and keep it being useful.

EDIT: Well I have look the file, sorry maybe I explained badly what I wanted.
I want all the data for the current last week. So, today (27-01) it would be from 20-01 to 27-01.

And the regions that I need are from the regions with the major trade hubs:
.The Forge
.Sinq Laison
.Domain
.Metropolis
.Heimatar

Since I'm just doing station trade and in sometime I'll try to do some cross-station trading for the soft.
